Two-finger swiping to navigate forward and back in the browser feels second nature. Scroll wheels and scroll bars are inferior to two-finger scrolling. As for sensitivity, if I put my finger straight down onto my trackpad at a 90° angle, I can move the cursor by tilting my finger <1°. It just feels better and more natural than any other system I've tried. Acceleration is how it translates the speed of your finger to the speed of your cursor. 99% of the time, your cursor won't move.Īpple's trackpad acceleration and sensitivity are second to none. Try brushing your palm against the edge of an Apple trackpad. You'll find that accidental input rejection is excellent on Apple trackpads.
